I'm a photographer and spotted this spider during a macro photo session of a beaver tailed cactus in full bloom. Location was near Warner Springs, CA. Altitude approx. 3,300 feet. Time of day was approx. 2pm, the cactus blossoms were in full bloom.

A photo colleague of mine has stated that this is a male green lynx spider. Feel free to add additional comments as you see fit. Spider details are new to me, photography is not. Thanks!
Yes, either Peucetia longipalpis or viridians, not sure which from this image but more viridians is more common.
