Initial guess, a jumping spider? I’m not sure though. It was larger than a dime in size. Any assistance in identifying would be appreciated. He /she was walking on the patio toward the edge of my house where it has been sprayed. I carefully moved it far away into my garden area where I think it will be safe.

Yep! P. Audax would be my guess.

Thank you so much . So there is an area underneath the eyes that is green in color. Is that a mating attribute and is that color determined by the spiders diet? Thanks in advance
