Beautiful spider! That body shape and the indentations in the abdomen look like the genus steadota, but I have never seen this patterning before.
Maybe Noble False Widow Steatoda nobilis?

Could be! Looks like the closest match to me.
Typically they had been found only in Europe, but have spread elsewhere. I don’t know if they are widespread in the US, but they have been seen in California.

Yep! These little guys where originally from the canary islands, but have spread through the US and Europe. I can’t say much about their bites, but the UK natural history museums website states “Often, the symptoms are no worse than the pain of a wasp sting” and that pain typically lasts for 1-12 hours. Definitely not pleasant, but I wouldn’t worry too much.
