I took this picture a long time ago in Gardner, Montana. I've only gotten as far as the Family Lycosidae for an identification (Wolf Spider). Possibly in the Genus Lycos. Have not been able to narrow down a species. Most certainly a female.

Unfortunately, I’m not too familiar with the NA species of Lycosa but I think I can say that this spider is definitely not in that genus. It is far too lanky and appears to be pretty much in line with the Pardosa genus. The spines, face and the legs, especially, really sell it for me. The hind legs of Pardosa always remind me of the hind legs of Grasshoppers.
Thank you for pointing out the identifying features. That helps a lot. I think you are absolutely right, Pardosa does seem to fit more accurately.
