Comments & ID Thoughts
I am assuming this is a female based on size - about 4-5 inches. It recently molted and had a significant increase in size. “Charlotte” was first thought to be a fishing spider (found in my chicken coop, along wood line / under pine trees of a recently cleared area) but based on the size, I am second guessing myself and think perhaps a type of huntsman. So far, it has been witnessed eating large bugs, and another spider.

The banding along it’s body definitely looks like a huntsman to me. Nice find!
