Goldenrod-crab spider
Found on leaf in lilac bush. Blooms had already died. Didn’t appear to be a full web but there were web threads among the leaves near it.

Yes, this is a Goldenrod Crab Spider, Misumena vatia. She’s doing her best without blooming flowers. There aren’t many insects for spiders to eat in our area right now, I’m finding very few insects and spiders compared to what there should be. I don’t recognize the web behind her. She’s an ambush hunter. She uses silk as a tether to help break a fall and to avoid being blown away by wind. Spiders are more fragile than they seem. The web might be an insect nest that she raided.

See yee spider

It’s for shure some type of crab spider
