This is the Red-banded Crab Spider, Misumenoides formosipes, The “red band” in the common name can be seen clearly under the spider’s eyes in your photo. This species has remarkable ability to change its colors through internal shifts of pigments. unfortunately it looks like she had time to try to match these flowers. They have the ability to do some blue coloring, but it might have done the red-purple instead.
