Hi all! Any ideas as to who this little guy is? I live in Kitchener (Ontario, Canada) and spotted it on the wall in my carport. I went to a few websites with spider photos to try and find a match but didn't have any luck. Am really curious to find out what it is... thanks! :)

Nice find! This looks like Platacryptus undatus. They are one of my favorite spiders because of their super fluffy chelicerae 🙂

Yes! Just googled Platacryptus undatus. I think the photos match. Their eyes are super cool too. I’m going to try to find it again and observe it 🙂 Thanks for your help!

Sounds good! They like to bask in the sun a lot, so outdoor fences and walls are a good place to check 🙂

Thanks for the tip! I’ll bring my better camera next time (this was just from a cell phone) to try and get some good shots!
