Initial guess is some kind of crab spider from the way it was sitting. Such a cutie though, never seen a neon green spider before. Any ideas on the exact species?

Yup, it’s a crab spider. I have not yet bothered to learn the different species of the Thomisidae family but they’re usually very pretty because they specialize in ambushing pollinators on flowers.
I saw a spider that looks very similar to this on a car I was cleaning at work a little bit ago before writing this. It was bright neon green, and it didn’t like it when I went to get it off the vehicle.
