I have other pictures of it but I’m not sure how this site works. I don’t want them to mistaken for additional spiders. Also, investigating closer, it may actually be in (or near) it’s web. There is a moth suspended in a web right above it. I can’t actually see the web, I wear glasses, but I’ve never heard of a levitating dead moth so there must be a web.
It’s been living on my soldering iron in my garage for about two days. Very alert. Very alive. Moves very quickly if I get near it, like it’s ready for a fight, but is otherwise completely motionless. If I take a picture of it when I come back it will be EXACTLY as I left it hours ago.

This looks like P. Mira, which is a kind of nursery web spider. Nice find!
