Comments & ID Thoughts
We have lots of these in our new home, and I cannot seem to find an exact match. The best I could find was a common house spider. Those appear to be harmless. They don't stick to one specific location in the house but scatter when the light goes on.

Hi, welcome to Spider ID. 🙂 This looks like a Funnel Weaver in the genus Coras.
That was super fast thank you!! Hopefully it’s harmless. Also they are only found on my floor, why is that?
They tend to build their webs along the ground, this is an adult male likely wandering in search of a mate. They’re not really an indoor species they’re probably wandering in somewhere by mistake. You can reduce the number of spiders you find indoors by sealing cracks around floors, doors, windows, foundation etc., vacuum everywhere and empty the cansiter outside.
As long as they are harmless I’m okay with them visiting! I just didn’t want my toddler to get bitten. Thanks for all your info, and you have an awesome user name btw!
They’re not anything to worry over but I would still escourt them outside when I see them just to be on the safe side. 🙂 And thanks, 😀
Thanks!
