Guessing for Parasteatoda tepidariorum (should be a female).
She caught a small wall lizard (Podarcis muralis) and an adult female of cricket Acheta domestica that escaped yesterday while I was tranferring it to its new enclosure.
Both are wrapped together and much bigger than the hunter :)

Parasteatoda tepidariorum?

Spidersarefriends

Oh man! I didn’t even see your picture comment. Did you ever get a solid answer?

She looks like an Orbweaver in family Aranidae. The shape of her gravid abdomen is somewhat angulate to the anterior. parasteatoda is more spherical. Orbweavers have more defined patterns to the markings, like this Parasteatoda look random. I don’t recognize the genus, It doesn’t look like any North American species that I know of. Usually we have a lot of overlap with Europe.

I’m really impressed with her bulk food shopping skills!
