I think this is a male metazygia wittfeldae. He was on his web on the outside of my house this morning.

Hi, welcome to Spider ID. 🙂 This is an Orb-weaver (Araneidae), looks like Metazygia zilloides. I’ll make a page for it when I have a little more time.

Great! There are a bunch of different orb weavers by me. They’re super cool and seem pretty friendly.
As a side note, I can’t believe I found a spider that’s not already on the site!
Sir ….I got it from changaram wetland ,alappuzha,Kerala….can u plz tell …is this female or male
I find tons of these where i camp. I started seeing them around may, but just two days ago i saw one crawling up my hammock while i was on it. They seem to be pretty active little guys. x3
