Comments & ID Thoughts
The closest I could find to it was Tutelina Elegans, but everything I found on those states they are Eastern US/Canada and I'm in Southern Oregon. The spider seemed to have a metallic iridescent sheen with a lot of different colors:yellow purple green teal etc. The coloring was most similar to beetles I've seen in the past. My friend has lived on this property 40+ years and when he looked at the photo he said he'd never seen another like it. Mostly interested in finding out more about him/her as I can't find any Oregon spider that resembles it.

I can’t find any spiders that look more similar to it than Tutelina elegans. It’s possible that they do live in your area and just haven’t been reported yet.
Thank you for checking 😀 I’m not sure of my ability to identify them myself so wasn’t sure if I was way off. It’ll be interesting to see if they start appearing more around here, though I’m a bit worried about whether they could be an issue with rabbits/cats/small dogs.
I just spent the last hour likely doing the same thing that you did trying to identify this same spider I found today. The one that I found was in Gold Hill, OR and the closest I could get for an identification is also Tutelina Elegans.
