Yes…there are a few “brown” spiders that look similar. A microscope on the eye configuration is the only way to be scientifically conclusive, but I have no doubt. This looks male.
Their eggs tend to hatch in July. If you have any corrugated cardboard piled around, you might have luck, if you see it that way lol, looking there. To them, it resembles rotting wood, their natural habitat.
Of course you know this, these have medically significant venom to humans.

I was kind of hoping it was. I’ve seen plenty of black widow but never one of these guys. These are a bit tougher to distinguish.
