This is a Hentzia mitrata, with a moth caught in its mouth. (Fairly sure it is a gypsy moth [Lymantria dispar], but it’s a hard to confirm with out seeing the antenna). This was so amazing to see play out on our porch railing!

This patterning on this spider looks closer to Platycryptus undatus to me. Jumpers are amazing at taking down large prey!
Oooh, yes, that is a tough call, but I do think you’re correct! I do have the new iPhone with the better cameras, but, some photos are still not as crisp as I would like, to see if the amber line of a male is there for sure or not (it doesn’t appear to).
Looks a lot like Platycryptus undatus. I have an Undatus as a pet!
I think it is now, too! 🙂
