I think this is a spiney orb weaver of some kind. Unfortuantely, i wrecked its web while hanging laundry.

My Awesome Volunteers – check this photo out! This is how M. gracilis eats webs. They roll the damaged web quite deftly using a bunch of legs. 🙂 Bonfred, you identified her correctly. The Latin name is Micrathena gracilis. Please don’t feel too bad about the web. You got a great photo of her recycling it! I damaged a web of this species accidentally too and got to see the spider roll it into a thick strand and start eating it – exactly as in this photo.
