Good news, the spider is the shape of a male Grass Spider. They have visible spinnerets. Totally harmless. They’re the ones that make sheet and tube webs on tall grass and shrubs. The webs aren’t sticky, they’re slippery and soft. If you put a grasshopper on one you can see how difficult it is for the insect to get enough traction to jump before the spider grabs it.
