Small, about the size of a pinky fingernail. Reddish brown body shaped somewhat like an ant, with dark brown pedis. (But he is defintely NOT an ant-mimicer, as he neither moves like, nor looks like, an ant whatsoever.) But the shape and color of his body, not including the legs, resembles an ant to me. VERY long front two legs! He like to dangle from a horizontal (not a drop line) silk line, upside down, and wave around his two long front legs. I also watched him travel along the side of my house--he makes a lot of horizontal lines while traveling and squiggles his long front legs A LOT (he spreads them apart they almost look like long antenna when he stops to dangle upside down with those two ling front legs spread wide apart in a distinctive manner that almost looks silly). Definitely not an american house spider but i have no clue what species....??? Thanks all!!!
