It was sitting on a marigold in a small pan of them I hadn’t planted. Several of the flowers were dead but it was sitting on one of the few remaining live ones. The pan of flowers was sitting on a plastic picnic table in our back yard in a suburban neighborhood. I’ve never seen one like it before, and I was born and raised in Alaska.
