Comments & ID Thoughts
I would love an ID for this spider. I do not know much about them, but I find this one in my bed! I am concerned that it bit my lip in the night because it was there and my lip is puffy. Help!

Link to the other side of the spider. Thank you for responding. I have no symptoms except for swelling on half of my upper lip, which seems to be getting better. Still trying to decide whether to do lots of vacuuming or burn my house down.
I don’t think you have anything to fear from this species. I can’t quite identify it, but it doesn’t belong to either medically significant species in our region.
Get rid of any corrugated cardboard piles you might have lying around. Some spiders favor this material as habitat.
Thank you again. I had just gone through some things from my grandmother’s estate several days ago that were packaged in cardboard boxes and while it had already been discarded could have left me an unpleasant gift. I will definitely bring my arachnid questions here in the future, great tool. Thx again. –current arachnophobe
