Thank you for asking! I work hard at fighting invasive species and teaching people about them. This spider is male, he can’t do much alone. He’s an orbweaver in family Araneidae. He might be a Shamrock Orbweaver, Araneus trifolum. They are found in Canada and northern US states. So, he probably hitched a ride locally in his quest to mate. I keep hoping to find spiders in my produce, but never have. It is more likely in organic and transitioning farms’ produce.
