Picture of unidentified spider

Comments & ID Thoughts

Found this as I was getting stuff out of an outdoor plastic storage box where I work. Felt like it jumped off the mop i was getting out and struck me how deep black it was. No marking as I far as I could tell just shiny very black with indents. I have a video too and more pics.

This is most likely Steatoda grossa :

More picture would be welcome, anyway 🙂

Sometimes S.grossa comes without any visible marking, which makes it hard to tell it from other black spiders belonging to the same family.
That’s why I’d like to see your spider with its legs stretched, if possible.
You can’t attach more photos to this post, but it’s perfectly fine to submit them separately.
