I think your ID is correct. It is difficult to tell this species apart from Misumenoides formosipes without a clear view of the eye area. M. vatia has yellow in the area – M. formosipes has a white or red band of color under the eye area. Both spiders have the really cool ability to change the colors of their bodies and markings toward matching what they see. M. vatia has a range in white to dark yellow and pink to red markings.
