Comments & ID Thoughts
Found in a garden center, so I think, that it's not a native species.
Thought it might be a cat-faced spider (Araneus gemmoides), because of the bumpy back, but the legs are too long.
Does anyone know what kind of spider this is?
(Sorry for the bad quality, but the spider was really small)

This is Uloborus plumipes and you’re right about its being an invasive species. A subtropical one, to be sure, but you can find it throughout Europe by now, mainly in green houses or plant shops in northern countries, even in the wild in the south. Even in my house, actually.. my sisters couldn’t believe it was a real spider 🙂
