Comments & ID Thoughts
I live in Las Vegas (southwest area) and I’m not too far from patches of desert land and saw this spider in my toilet water, not sure if my roomate killed it and left it there to scare me but I was spooked lol. It was a pretty moderate size, I would say approx. 4-6 inches from leg end to leg end but it was kind of hard to tell with it being in the water. Can anyone help me identify it and should I be concerned that others like it will also be in my home?

Hi, welcome to Spider ID. 🙂 This looks like a male Crevice Weaver, Kukulcania sp.. You can reduce the number of spiders you find in your home by sealing cracks around floors, doors, windows, foundation etc., vacuum everywhere and empty the canister outside.
