Hi, this looks like a Cork-lid Trapdoor Spider (Ummidia sp.). They’re not arboreal, maybe a bird dropped it.. or maybe it’s raining spiders where you are, haha. 🙂 I can’t determine gender from this image. If it’s a male it’s likely searching for a mate, if it’s female it will want to make another burrow, so whichever it is it’s not kitten hunting.
