Found this in my back doorway. What is it? I think it’s an orb weaver of some kind. I would love to know more!

I think she’s a pale Hentz Orbweaver, Neoscona crucifera. She will eat the little bugs when she eats her web to recycle it. Spiders set up webs near artificial lighting to catch nocturnal insects lured by the light. Windows and entryway lights will lure spiders and insects. She will eat the web in the morning, unless it is cloudy, and rebuild at dusk. They avoid rain because it can have enough force to kill them. I lost the Hentz Orbweaver on my porch in a recent storm.
