I’m not sure what the name is. There were three of these in different corners of the sliding doors of my balcony. Their web is fairly large, they navigated the web with impressive speed, and wrapped prey inside a web with equally speed. Bugs did not stand a chance. Their about an inch and a half long. I don’t know if they’re poisonous.

She looks like a Furrow Orbweaver, Larinioides cornutus. The colors vary, but the markings pattern should be about the same. All of the ones you have should be female. Males would be meals if they stayed too long. They all have venom to kill prey swiftly. Only a few species in USA have venom that is medically significant: Black Widows, Brown Widows, and Brown Recluses. All only bite defensively. So, don’t worry about Orbweavers, they’re interesting to watch. They eat their old or damaged webs for the ultimate recycling. Thank you! I just had to take it. I’ve never been so close to a spider without screaming in fear. A glass was separating us of course lol
