I am not sure about this one. It was taken on our Arlo camera. Quite hairy and appears mature. We are at 2900 feet above sea level in a forested area.

I may have found my spider: I am going to take a stab at a Rusty Red Neoscona Cruciferas
I think you got it! I’ve never heard it called that before, the most common common names for Neoscona crucifera are Spotted Orbweaver (I don’t use that one because it overlaps with other names) and Hentz Orbweaver. I looked up your camera too – cool! I love how digital cameras have changed in the last few years with better night vision and focussing! The change in technology shows in the clarity of the photos we receive. Most of the hazy ones in the past were due to limited lighting. thank you for your excellent response. I was a Master Gardener in the Florida Keys and we had to learn our bugs and insects. Now that I am in North Carolina, I plan to do the same.
