Hi, it looks like a Slender Crab Spider in genus Tibellus.
I found one too in White Sulphur Springs, or I should say it found me. Instead of retrieving away from me it was following my every move like it was stalking me. It climb right on me and I accidentally threw it off when the spider startled me it came right back and did the same thing again. It actually scared me how feisty it was. Hi, all spiders have some venom for killing prey. Very few have chemicals that are potent to humans or other mammals. Allergic reactions are possible but very rare. I don’t know why it was so attracted to you. I’ve had that happen with a huge male sphinx moth. I don’t know if it can be a cross-species pheromone thing, or a chemical, like sunscreen that I had on. The Polyphemus moth insisted on being with me, people thought I had a big piece of butterfly jewelry on. I felt bad when I had to put it facing away from me… Read more »
