This spider was seen in Maitencillo, Chile.
It was crawling on top of some firewood.
Was photographed by my brother.
This type of spider is one he had never seen before.

They are different from spiders because they have one body segment instead of two. You may be able to find an identification of it if you search Opiliones. They aren’t our specialty, unfortunately I don’t know the answer.
