I live in Raymond Washington I found a spider late last night the temperature was approximately 50° cold she was building a web across the front of my shed I believe she's called a shamrock orb weaver or a r a n e u s t r i f o l i u m

Araneus species. I think your identification is correct, but I’m only sure that the benus is Araneus. She also resembles Araneus marmoreus, a Marbled Orbweaver. She’s kinda in-between them in appearance. The Shamrock would have leg band markings that alternate between a light and a dark color. The Marbled has legs that are (proximal to distal): red/white/red/ white/black…. She is close to being ready to oviposit her eggs in a little silk tuft that looks like cotton candy. Her babies will be freeze-resistant and will emerge to scatter in Spring.
Thank you for replying as I have no knowledge of spiders whatsoever but find them very interesting in an Erie kind of way several years ago I was bitten by a hobo spider and almost lost my little finger
