Found on the wall near the ceiling of my apartment on the second floor. I’ve never seen a web. The spider is reddish/brown. Including its legs, maybe 1-2 inch big?

This is interesting. I feel like this one should be easy, but I’m at a loss. @TangledWeb @LocalEntomologist
My guess is Cithaeron Praedonius based on google searches, but I have absolutely no idea. It usually just shows up high on the wall and chills there for hours, then it disappears for a couple days/weeks before showing up again.
It does look like a possibilty. I can’t tell if your spider is pinkish. My vague impression of it is a male Heteropoda venatoria, a Huntsman. The males have big dark markings in the head area. Heteropoda= different feet. Your spiders’s feet appear to point in different directions. That gives the spider a speed a advantage for rotating its body to run toward prey in any direction because one foot is always at the best angle to push off of.
