Sorry, we can’t identify wounds and lesions. We aren’t medically trained. Doctors actually can’t identify most spider bites without the specimen and someone actually seeing the spider bite the person. The two types of potentially medically significant spiders in Kansas are Black Widows and Brown Recluses. For right now, wash and disinfect the wound. A cold poultice of water and baking soda on a cloth or paper towel may reduce pain and itching by neutralizing the acidity of an insect or spider bite.
