You might think its a wolf spider but this is actually a river spider, common misconception women tend to make.

She didn’t even mention wolf spiders, it’s a fishing spider.
Yes, and this is cool because She’s in a Nursery Web. There’s a hatching egg sac in there somewhere and she is posing to look big and distract predators from it. I watched a mother Fishing Spider guard her hatchlings. She always did fierce poses when she saw me. When the hatchlings are mature enough their mother may lead them to the nearby water to learn to hunt in/on water.

With Peter Parker after his unfortunate interest in a display for school kids of radiation research on spiders? How were kids supposed to know it was an OSHA fine waiting to happen?!
Of course, hopefully with our spider degrees we can created change and never let something like this happen again
