Sent to me by my father, found outside of a building he was working on as a house painter. He asked if it was a smaller wolf spider. Based on the dorsal stripe and the positioning of the front four legs, my guess is Pisaurina mira
(Nursery Web Spider). No other photos of the individual were provided, so not able to get any close-ups.

You got it! Yes, this is Pisaurina mira, in the Fishing Spider family. Fishing Spiders like to plaster themselves to high verticals, Wolf Spiders generally can’t do this. I identify spiders in photos from my Dad too. 🙂
I’m pretty sure this is a Nursery Web Spider.
