I first photographed this one on 11 Oct. I see her rebuilding her web during the day. Her web runs from a deck post to a outdoor lightpost, perhaps 6 feet total distance between the two. She is extremely camera shy.
My best guess is that she is a Marbled Orbweaver.

Araniella displicata is my best guess from memory. I haven’t seen one this dark-colored, but it is possible. Her photo will remain open for discussion.
