Black and Yellow Garden Spider
Web attached to a shed door. I need to move it so I can open door. Suggestions?

This happens often. If you take a stick and pull the web aside slowly a spider will walk off to the side that is still attached and won’t be injured. She may also climb onto the stick and can be moved to a more convenient place, like a porch frame or tree branch. This is how I move Cellar Spiders that need to get away from intolerant humans. ;( Twist the web into a strand and leave it. She’ll probably eat it like a big piece of spaghetti.
