I have never seen a spider like this before. Was rewirering my speakers and looked down to see this little guy waving both front arms at me. Looks super cool almost as if he could glow in the dark
Misumenoides formosipes, Red (or White)-banded Crab Spider. Also a cool color-changing spider! I’m going by the faint red line under the eyes. It is white sometimes, which is why the spider has two different common names.
I love watching videos like that! I didn’t know Netflix had anything, I’ve been watching PBS, BBC, and such on YouTube. I’m happy that the bug videos get lots of views. Watching the behaviors is totally different than reading about them. Spitting Spiders shooting venom+silk don’t look like what I’ve read, the mixed liquid is in a thinner stream than I expected. Feel free to link nature videos that don’t require membership to view.
Such cool spiders! Misumena Vatia or a Goldenrod Crab Spider. They camouflage depending on what color flower they’re sitting on!

Thanks! I remembered a similar species of this spider being on the “Life In Color” Netflix documentary. Very cool.
