https://bugguide.net/node/view/1999 This appears to be Latrodectus mactans, a Southern Black Widow because the second orange spot is (roughly) longer than wide. This isn’t the scientific way to tell the two Black Widow Species in Virginia apart. So, I don’t really know. The info I attached may help. BugGuide is an older site than ours and has many more images and more range data points than we have.
