Ken Schneider and I both put a male under a microscope and determined through pedi palp pictures this species is Kukulcania arizonica

Cool! I looked it up on BugGuide, I didn’t know there are 5 Kukukcania species in North America. I would have been able to identify this pair to the genus level, but the color of the first joints is different from the species I’m familiar with, K. hibernalis. Thanks! Know I know we should identify them as Kukulcania sp. if they look like the genus but don’t have white leg joints. BugGuide lumps some of the Kukulcania species together if they haven’t been identified under a microscope.
I think it’s Texas over and it’s just the “Southern House Spider ” Kukulcania hibernalis but wow I didn’t know that information about the leg joints I thought they were exactly a like. Kukulcania arizonica are a big part of my documenting because I have so many!!! I document 32 females everyday. Some have been here for the 6 plus years I’ve lived here.
