It’s a Six-spotted Fishing Spider, Dolomedes triton. Thanks for giving it a guess. The easiest ways to tell them from Wolf Spiders are that Fishing Spiders are much better at climbing verticals and they have pointy posteriors. This species has distinctive white lines and spots which really help with the identification.

I was really excited to find my first Fishing Spider too, they sound exotic, but they were fishing in a shallow brook next-to local humans who were fishing for small fish too.
