Visiting an Airbnb in Hilo Hawaii doing some anal gardening gardening because I can’t see weeds even on vacation I saw the spider in some oyster plants adjacent to the road got a quick picture of it it to me it I am pretty certain it was not an orb weaver but it was odd looking for me something between” a “normal” shape spider and a Linx spider Having a somewhat elongate abdomen

Hi, thanks for the photo! And yes what’s with the lack of spider diversity in Hawaii? Totally understand about “anal gardening”, I can’t walk down any road without pulling some weeds. I know it looks weird, but don’t people realize that it looks even more weird it you’re a Main St business with trees growing up through your evergreen hedges?!
