Picture of unidentified spider

Comments & ID Thoughts

I’m guessing this is one of the “Running Crab Spiders”, Philodromus dispar, but this is my only based on looking it up myself online but would like to share this for help identifying him and/or to possibly help others identify a harmless tiny 8-legged friend. I found him in the bed linens while getting ready to change the sheets and where our pup and kitty sleep with us in our farmhouse. It’s not surprising when I do see a spider in a bed though it is a bit startling at first glance. I’m assuming he came in by mistake on one of us we are outdoors daily doing gardening, hiking around the farm, in the fields and woods, and generally working outside a lot. Hope this is correct and that it may help someone! Thank you all for your assistance- I learn alot from such good intelligent folks as you. I’m a wildlife enthusiast of all creatures all sizes, including spiders and especially keep track and notes on Monarch Butterflies.
