would like to know if this is a funnel web, very large approx. 50mm front to back.

This is not a Funnel Web. Male Funnel Webs do not have tibial spurs on tibiae 1, only on tibiae 2. This is most likely just a harmless Wishbone Spider in the Aname genus.
I think it’s a wishbone too. If you look up a wishbone, the description says it has silvery or gold hairs on the head and if you look at the photo it has a silver looking head
