Sassacus vitis
Found on an empty milk jug set on the kitchen counter, next to a bowl of tangerines picked last last night, but also not far from an open sliding door to the back patio with trees and shrubberies and vines etc.
Very cute with a bronze sheen.
Happy released out back on a leaf.

Looks like Phidippus Clarus
I don’t think so, although when I looked that up I could see why you’d think that. I’m quite certain it’s sassacus vitus. I google searched the images I had and it came up with sassacus vitus and all the pictures I saw of that species looked exactly like my spider. The descriptions were matching as well, including the golden shine which doesn’t really show in the photo.
You may be right. On second glance it does look like an s. Vitus
