Dolomedes albineus? That is the most interesting thing I’ve ever seen from a Bed Bath and Beyond store! This must be the “Beyond” part. The common name is White-banded Fishing Spider. The white band is under the eyes. The photo is great! Their venom isn’t medically significant. The markings resemble weathered trees and lichens. They’re usually found on wooden surfaces. I’ll check the range they’re usually found in.
There are several Fishing Spider species in your area. Dolomedes vitattus also has the white band under the eyes. This link is to Bugguide.net They have a guide to Fishing Spiders with photos and ranges. It’s possible that it could have come from a US warehouse too.
You’re welcome. For a spider in a shipping box, that’s an unusually large spider. Thank you for checking if it is native. I focus a lot of my time fighting invasive species of plants and animals. and teaching about how to increase habitat for native ones. I know areas in my neighborhood that are almost entirely taken over by invasive species. Property is selling quickly, thankfully most of the huge invasive plants are removed as the property transfers.
It’s tan with a few yellowish spots on each leg

Thanks for responding. We were kind of worried about this
