Comments & ID Thoughts

I work at a grocery store and found it in a banana box and decided to keep it. But now it made what looks like an egg sack and I wouldn’t want to release the babies in a foreign country if it’s not native to the US.

Looks like it is a native Dark Fishing spider (Dolomedes tenebrosus).

Hi, this looks like a non-native Ctenidae. Do you know where the bananas came from? Compare to Acanthoctenus. Thanks for (hopefully) not releasing them.
