I know it's not a Spider. This is a Woodlouse. They are Isopods > suborder Oniscidea. This one is in the spherical defensive posture. These are the arthropods that Woodlouse Hunter Spiders, Dysdera crocata have specialized fangs for. I'm submitting my photo to use as my photo reference for discussing D. crocata.

This is not a spider, it is a crustacean called a roly poly…they are very good for the environment as they help clean dirt.

Thanks (read my comment under the photo, please) The link you added is excellent, I learned new strange things. They can drink through both ends of their body?! Recently I checked out what animal species can be purchased on Amazon because my neighbour gets shipments of live fish delivered to his house for his bait shop. There a many species of these isopods available as pets. Thanks Mom and Dad! That is so cool there is a spider with special fangs for these arthropods! It would be cool to see a photo of one in action!
